Work Plan
Work Package 1: Project Management
Leader: Consorzio promos Ricerche
The project is managed and monitored using the PM² methodology, the European Commission’s official project management framework, ensuring effective planning, execution, control, and quality assurance. A Project Governance Structure guides the implementation, including a Project Steering Board for strategic decisions, a Project Manager overseeing day-to-day activities, a Quality Assurance Manager monitoring standards, and a Financial Coordinator managing budget and reporting. The project lifecycle follows the four PM² phases: Initiating, Planning, Executing, and Closing.
This structured approach ensures transparency, risk management, and high-quality deliverables throughout the project’s duration, supporting its successful completion and long-term impact.

The course fosters knowledge exchange via an AI-enhanced platform and is designed to fit local legal frameworks and sectoral needs, ensuring practical, up-to-date expertise that promotes sustainability across multiple countries. It helps achieve the project’s overall goal by equipping trainers to effectively guide tourism businesses toward greener operations and certification, enhancing sustainable tourism capacity in the partner countries. Results include a modular, adaptable training program with practical case studies, involving at least six expert VET providers and 24 participants, delivered in English, strengthening the learning offer of partner institutions like Cappadocia University, Promos Ricerche, and MACTT.

Work Package 4 (WP4) will develop an AI-powered e-learning platform that personalizes and enhances sustainability training for tourism SMEs. The platform will adapt to each user's learning style and progress by analyzing behavior and performance, offering tailored content and interactive materials such as quizzes and simulations. Automated assessments provide real-time feedback, while data dashboards help business owners and educators track progress and optimize learning. Integrated with existing learning management systems, WP4 ensures accessibility and scalability, delivering practical, step-by-step guidance on topics like energy efficiency and green certification (e.g., EU Ecolabel, ISO 14001). By combining AI-driven personalization, interactive content, and real-time insights, the platform empowers tourism businesses to navigate sustainability challenges effectively, supporting long-term green transformation and resilience in the sector.
